Kathmandu Valley witnesses 200 fresh COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: As many as 200 more people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

Speaking at a regular press briefing on Thursday afternoon, Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Jageshwor Gautam said that 174 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 18 in Lalitpur and eight in Bhaktapur.

The COVID-19 national tally reached 29,645 with 707 new cases on Thursday.

Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll stands at 126.
