Tehrathum reports nine fresh coronavirus cases



TEHRATHUM: Nine more coronavirus cases were detected in Tehrathum district.

According to the District Health Office, out of 74 swab samples collected in the district and sent to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, 68 reports have come out.

Of them, nine reports came out positive and 58 negative. The reports of remaining seven are yet to be awaited.

Those infected are six males and three females aged 25 to 54, according to the office.

Their condition is said to be normal.

Earlier, a 20-year-old girl and 29-year-old police constable of Armed Police Force Base Camp in Sakranti Bazaar in the district had tested positive for the coronavirus.

With this the number of cases in Tehrathum has reached 11.
