Bara reports 46 COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: A total of 46 COVID-19 positive cases have been confirmed in Bara on Monday.

Dr. Madan Upadhyaya, Director of Narayani Hospital, told Khabarhub that coronavirus infection was confirmed in 46 people from Bara when 71 swab samples were tested at the hospital’s laboratory.

Dr. Upadhyaya further said the infected people are from Suvarna and Devlat Rural Municipalities. Of them, 11 are women and 35 are men.

According to Bara Chief District Officer Rudra Prasad Pandit, 46 people, including nine people’s representatives, 16 health workers, five rural municipalities staff and family members of other health workers, have been infected.
