Coronavirus confirmed in Mustang, 50 new cases in Gandaki Province



KATHMANDU: Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 50 people in four districts of Gandaki Province including Mustang on Saturday evening.

The Health Directorate, Pokhara said in a statement on Saturday evening that two people from Tanahun, 29 from Baglung, 18 from East Nawalparasi and one from Mustang have confirmed to have coronavirus infection.

As per the latest details, the number of cases in Gandaki Province has reached 488

According to the health directorate, all the newly-infected people are in the quarantine of the concerned municipalities. It said that preparations are being made to take all of them to the isolation in the respective districts.

Earlier, coronavirus was found in 74 districts of Nepal. Now, with the addition of Mustang, coronavirus infection has spread to 75 districts.
