Nine Kuwait returnees test COVID-19 positive

KATHMANDU: Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in nine Nepalis who had returned to Nepal from Kuwait.

Nepal Army spokesperson Bigyandev Pandey said that infection has been confirmed in nine out of 103 Nepalis who had returned from Kuwait.

According to Spokesperson Pandey, all those who returned to Nepal from Kuwait on Thursday were kept at the Nepal Electricity Authority’s training center in Bhaktapur.

One person was diagnosed with a health problem two days ago and had tested positive. Similarly, the PCR results of 102 others showed positive in eight of them today.
