COVID-19 cases in Province 1 reach 433



BIRATNAGAR: The total number of people infected with coronavirus in Province 1 has reached 433.

On Saturday, 11 new infected people were added in Morang’s Ratuwamai Municipality, eight in Jhapa and two in Sunsari.

Among the districts of Province 1, Jhapa district alone has the highest number of infected people at 178, while cases in Morang have reached 116.

Similarly, the tally has reached 63 in Sunsari, eight in Dhankuta, six in Bhojpur, four in Khotang, 45 in Udayapur, one in Solukhumbu, two in Sankhuwasabha, one in Tehrathum, two in Ilam, three in Panchthar and four in Taplejung.

A total of 188 people are undergoing treatment in Biratnagar and Dharan.
