Kathmandu Valley confirms eight new COVID-19 cases 



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Valley has reported eight new cases of coronavirus on Saturday.

In the regular press briefing of the Ministry of Health and Population, Spokesperson of the Ministry Dr. Jageshwor Gautam said that coronavirus has been confirmed in one woman from Kathmandu and seven women from Bhaktapur in the last 24 hours.

A woman from Kathmandu tested positive in tests carried out at National Public Health Laboratory, Teku and seven women from Bhaktapur in tests at Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Diseases Hospital.

Nepal reported 331 new cases in the past 24 hours that took the tally to 8,605.
