KATHMANDU: Over 111,000 people have recovered from coronavirus in the past 24 hours across the world.
Until this report was compiled on Saturday morning, as many as 4,620,283 people recovered from the deadly virus that has spread to 113 countries including two international conveyances across the world.
This number is more by 111, 028 compared to the number of those who recovered on Friday morning. It was 459,255 yesterday.
Similarly, 180, 361 people have been infected with the coronavirus in the past 24 hours. With this the number of infected with the deadly virus has crossed 8,750,000 globally.
As many as 5,059 died from the deadly virus globally in the past 24 hours. With this, the number of deaths from COVID-19 has reached 461,813 across the world.
Currently, 3,669,782 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the world, of which 4,625,449 have returned home after treatment.
In European countries, 186,934 have died from coronavirus pandemic as of Saturday morning. A total of 1,235,008 among 2,283,096 infected have recovered from coronavirus.
The death toll in North America has reached 151, 854. The number of infection cases has climbed to 2,652,285 of which 1,182,752 have returned home after recovery.
Likewise, the deadly virus has killed 46,363 and infected 1,816 317 people in Asia while 1,143,152 have recovered after treatment.
South America has reported 68,810 deaths and 1700,092 infection cases. Meanwhile, 915,077 have recovered.
The novel virus has killed 7,713 and infected 288,812 in Africa. Meanwhile, 135,176 people have recovered.
Similarly, 124 have died in Australia and Oceania countries as of Saturday morning. Among 9,023 infected, 8,467 have recovered.
