KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is answering the questions raised by the lawmakers over the government’s policies and programs in the federal parliament today.

The parliament meeting will begin at 12 pm.

Prime Minister Oli will address the lawmakers’ questions over the government’s policies and programs raised in the parliament meetings on Monday and Sunday.

The main opposition Nepali Congress has demanded seven amendments to the government’s policies and programs.

The government’s policies and programs for the fiscal year 2020/21 will be presented in the parliament meeting for endorsement once the prime minister answers the questions raised by the lawmakers.

Similarly, Law Minister Shiva Maya Tumbahamphe will float a proposal seeking revival of some legal provisions and scrapping of some ordinances in the meeting, according to Dr Bharat Raj Gautam, General Secretary of the Federal Parliament.
