Medical drug stores shut down in Parsa

PARSA: The Nepal Drug Entrepreneurs Association, Parsa chapter has pulled down the shutters of all medical drug stores in the district protesting the alleged police torture against the chapter chairperson.

The NDEA Parsa has alleged the police of mistreating its Chairperson Tajuddin Ansari when he had gone to purchase vegetables on Saturday.

The Association has also alleged the police of seizing Asnari’s motorcycle.

Association’s State-2 General Secretary Papu Jha said they were compelled to to close down their service alleging the local administration for ignoring their repeated plea to stop the mistreatment of drug entrepreneurs during the lockdown.

Consumers are affected due to the closure of the medical stores.
