Construction of 50-bed corona ward underway at Seti Hospital

DHANGADHI: Construction of a separate 50-bed corona ward has begun in Dhangadhi for the treatment of COVID-19 patients.

The Health Office, Kailali and Mahakali Hospital of Kanchanpur were provided ten million rupees each for construction of a separate corona ward by the Social Development Ministry of Sudur Paschim government.

The wards will be operated under the Seti Provincial Hospital, said the Ministry’s Health Division Chief Narendra Singh Karki.

The ward will be ready in fifteen days, with the contract for the building already awarded, said chief of the health office, Lal Bahadur Dhami. The ward is being constructed at the District Development Committee’s land just opposite of the ward police office in Dhangadi.

Kanchanpur Mahakali hospital will set up a separate 50-bed corona ward.
