My determination made me recover quickly: 65-yr Baglung woman

BAGLUNG: A 65-year-old elderly woman undergoing treatment at Dhaulagiri Zonal Hospital for COVID-19 got discharged after recovering on Saturday.

It was confirmed that she won her battle against the coronavirus as the third and fourth of the swab tests were negative.

“My determination to win over the virus made me recover quickly,” said the woman. “Also, I was able to recover as I followed the doctors’ directions thoroughly.”

She said that she drank a lot of water and the food and medications given by the hospitals regularly in her 16-day stay in the hospital, The Rising Nepal reported on Sunday.

“I am immensely happy about my recovery,” she said. “I request everyone to follow all the safety procedures to prevent virus infection.”

Also, I request everyone to not panic even if they’re infected by the virus, she added.

The woman, who is the sixth COVID-19 patient of Nepal, had arrived from Belgium via Qatar transit on March 17.

She was diagnosed with the disease on April 2.
