HETAUDA: The Bagmati State government has decided to prorogue the ongoing winter session of the State Assembly.

A special meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Thursday morning decided to recommend to the State Chief to prorogue the assembly session to be effective from 12.00 tonight, according to the State Government Spokesperson and Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Kailash Prasad Dhungel.

The state government took the decision to implement the federal government’s measures to ward off potential risks of coronavirus and to develop state government’s plan to fight against the pandemic.
