‘Isolation ward’ in Bandipur hospital



BANDIPUR: The Tanahun-based Bandipur Hospital has set up an ‘isolation ward’ for providing treatment to COVID-19 suspects.

The isolation ward has eight beds as an arrangement to resist corona menace, stated Bandipur rural municipality chair and hospital management chair Purna Singh Thapa.

Arrangements have been made to provide treatment to corona infection suspects, collect throat swab and cough samples and send the samples to the center for the lab test, Thapa informed.

“The rural municipality has also devised public awareness and sensitization campaigns to resist coronavirus pandemic”, he informed.

Meanwhile, the GP Koirala National Respiration Treatment Centre based in Shuklagandaki municipality-5, Balchautari has already set up a 12-bed isolation ward.
