One held for collecting donation in NWPP’s name

BHAKTAPUR: Police have arrested a man on the charge of collecting donation impersonating himself as the cadre of Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP) in the district.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team deployed from Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur arrested 50-year-old Gopal Bahadur Purkuti of Budhanilkantha Municipality-7, Hattigaunda from Radheradhe of Madhyapurthimi Municipality-5.

According to DSP Deepak Giri, Purkurti was arrested with fake letter pads and a stamp of NWPP.
