Two nabbed with Chinese pistol in Janakpur

JANAKPUR: Police have nabbed two persons with a Chinese pistol on Saturday night.

Jitendra Kumar Yadav, 42, of Chhireshwarnath Municipality-1 and Kumod Narayan Jha, 30, of Chhireshwarnath-5 were arrested, according to DSP Rameshwor Karki.

The duo was arrested from Janakpur Sub Metropolitan City-1, Bhanu Chowk.

A team led by DSP Karki had reached the spot after a car, Ba 14 Cha 7459, hit a motorcycle, Ja 9 Pa 5806.

Police then searched the private car and recovered the pistol, six live bullets and one magazine from the car’s boot.
