Mahesh Basnet directs youths to form ‘cyber armies’ to dispel misinformation against govt

GAINDAKOT: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) youth leader Mahesh Basnet has instructed youths to form ‘cyber armies’ in every community to ‘dispel misinformation’ against the government.

Addressing a gathering of youths at Gaindakot in Nawalpur on Saturday afternoon, Basnet, who is also in charge of the Youth Association of Nepal, directed to constitute ‘cyber armies’ to protect the government.

He accused the opposition of ‘spreading misinformation’ against the government in a planned manner.

While the government is working for development and good governance, the opposition parties are spreading false propaganda against it, Basnet claimed.
