MAKAWANPUR: A three-year-old girl was murdered at Bagmati in the eastern region of Makawanpur district.
Police suspected that the baby girl could have been murdered after rape.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of District Police Office, Makawanpur, Indra Bahadur Rana said that body of Rubina Pakhrin, the daughter of Sher Bahadur, from Bagmati Rural Municipality-7 was recovered from the site on Wednesday evening.
Police said the blood-stained body of the girl was found on the bank of a rivulet in the same rural municipality.
She was found in a critical condition and was rushed to Hetauda Hospital for treatment where the doctors pronounced her death.
At present, a team of police personnel under the command of DSP Rana has reached the incident site and two suspected men are arrested.
The baby girl was missing from her family after 3:00 pm on Wednesday. RSS
