Sandeep Lamichhane signs contract with Hurricanes



KATHMANDU: Nepali leg spinner Sandeep Lamichhane signed a contract with Hobart Hurricanes to take part in Big Bash cricket tournament to be held in Australia.

Hurricanes hired Lamichhane following the expiry of his contract with Melbourne.

“I am elated to get connected with Big Bash again through Hurricanes,” said Lamichhane after joining the team, adding, “I have always received love and support from Australia. I am excited to play this season.”

Lamichhane, who made a debut in Big Bash League in 2018, has already performed twice in the Australian match through Melbourne Stars.

He had claimed 26 wickets in an average of 19.80 in 20 games.
