Sexagenarian succumbs to COVID-19 in Butwal



BUTWAL: A 62-year-old man has died from coronavirus in Rupandehi district.

The sexagenarian succumbed to the virus in the course of treatment at Butwal COVID-19 Special Hospital on Wednesday night, said Dr Bishnu Gautam, the information officer of the hospital.

Originally from Satyawati-6, Gulmi, the patient had been admitted to the hospital after testing positive for the virus on November 8.

He had also been suffering from pneumonia, according to Gautam.
