KATHMANDU: The normal life has been affected after the temperature in the Kathmandu Valley has gone down to 6 degree Celsius on Thursday morning.

It was recorded at 6 am today. According to Barun Paudel, a meteorologist, the temperature is likely to go down further until 8:45 am.

The weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly region resulting in the decrease in the temperature, said Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD). According to the Division, there will be thick fog in the Tarai region affecting the transport system (both the air and land) in the morning.

“There is less visibility in the Tarai region due to thick fog in the morning,” said Paudel, urging caution in air and road transport system.
