PM Oli, ministers to deposit Dashain allowance in Coronavirus Fund



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli and all the cabinet ministers have agreed to deposit their Dashain allowances in Coronavirus Fund.

Spokesperson of the government, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Parbat Gurung said a decision has been taken to that end.

He also said that local level people’s representatives have been urged to do the same.

Earlier today, lawmakers of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and Nepali Congress had decided to return the Dashain allowance.
