Three persons held in possession of prohibited medicinal herbs



MAKWANPUR: The Division Forest Office at Rapti Manahari in Makawanpur district has forwarded legal action against three persons recently held with a truck loaded with prohibited medicinal herbs.

A team of Area Police Office, Palung and Division Forest Office, Palung had arrested them with a truck (Ba 4 Kha 9632) heading to Dandabas in Thaha Municipality-7 in Makawanpur during a security check. The arrestees were illegally smuggling the prohibited herbs.

The arrested ones were the driver of the truck, Raj Kumar Gole, 19, of Thaha Municipality-7 in Makawanpur, Buddhilal Thing, 51, and Ramesh Thing, 18, from the same locality, according to the Area Police Office, Palung.

The three arrestees were sent to custody, said the police. Police have also forwarded an investigation into the case.
