Hearing Committee receives three complaints against proposed envoy Khatiwada



KATHMANDU: The Parliamentary Hearing Committee has received four complaints against the proposed ambassadors to the United States and the United Kingdom.

The committee had called the complaint against the proposed ambassadors on Monday.

Chairman Laxman Lal Karna said that as the name of the person filing the complaint has been mentioned but not the contact number, it was decided to publish a public notice to appear before the committee on November 2 with additional evidence.

Three complaints have been filed against proposed ambassador to the United States, former Finance Minister Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada, and one against the proposed ambassador to the United Kingdom, former Chief Secretary Lokdarshan Regmi, said Karna.
