Youth leaps to his death from KMC hospital’s 3rd floor



KATHMANDU: A man has committed suicide by jumping from the building of Kathmandu Medical College (KMC) Hospital in Sinamangal.

Roshan Khadka, 26, died after falling from the third floor of the hospital at around 8.40 this morning.

“The incident occurred this morning. The death has been reported now,” said DSP Jitendra Kumar Basnet of Gaushala Metropolitan Police Circle.

Originally from Solukhumbu, Khadka had been living in Baneshwor, Kathmandu. He was admitted to the hospital after burning himself on Sunday evening. He was mentally ill, according to a police investigation.
