Nepali national dies in Malaysia



KATHMANDU: A Nepali national who was stranded on the road in Malaysia has died.

According to the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), Malaysia, the deceased has been identified as Rohan Rai from Damak, Jhapa.

Rai, who was stranded on the road on Friday afternoon, had wounds on various parts of his body.

He was rescued by NRNA Malaysia and treated at a local clinic with the help of the Nepali Embassy in Malaysia and kept in a hostel.

However, the embassy said that he died in the course of treatment on Sunday.

According to the Nepali embassy, ​​he could not be admitted to a sophisticated hospital due to lack of documents.

But NRNA Malaysia has objected saying that some people have spread misleading propaganda about the incident.
