COVID-19 kills 114,642, infects 7,548,238 in India

KATHMANDU: India recorded 55,511 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 7,548,238.

Currently, 773,701 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 6,659,895 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 114,000-mark.

With 578 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 114,642, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
