Dr Sanduk Ruit to be feted with Suprasiddha Prabal Janasewa (First Class)



KATHMANDU: The government has announced that it will honor senior ophthalmologist Dr Sanduk Ruit with Suprasiddha Prabal Janasewa Shree (First Class).

President Bidya Bhandari will confer the title on Ruit amidst a program organized on the occasion of Constitution Day today.

Similarly, Chief Justice of Deepak Kumar Karki former Chief Commissioner of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority Nabin Kumar Ghimire, Chief of Army Staff Purna Chandra Thapa and Inspector General of Armed Police Force Shailendra Khanal are being feted with Suprasiddha Prabal Janasewa Shree (Second Class).

Bhandari will confer medals, awards, decoration and honors on as many as 594 personalities, living or dead, from different walks of life in recognition of their valuable contribution to the country today.
