COVID-19 kills 53,014, infects 2,766,626 in India



KATHMANDU: As many as 53,014 people have died from coronavirus in India as of Wednesday morning.

According to the latest figures collated by Worldometer, 1,089 have died in the past 24 hours.

With 65,022 cases in a single day, the number of infection cases has reached 2,766,626.

A total of 2,036,703 have recovered after treatment so far. Similarly, the condition of 8,944 among those infected is critical.

India has the highest number of COVID-19 infection cases in Asia and comes third in the world.
