Rasuwa checkpoint to resume one-way



KATHMANDU: China has agreed to resume Rasuwagadhi checkpoint that has remained shut for the last five months.

The one-way transport service will resume, according to the Custom Department.

A large number of container vans have been stuck on the Chinese side.

China has agreed to open one-way traffic at the request of the Nepali entrepreneurs, said the Custom Department.

It is learnt that over 1,000 container vans have been stuck on the China side. Rasuwa checkpoint has been closed since January19.
