Sexagenarian dies in home quarantine in Gulmi



GUMLMI:  A sexagenarian who was staying in quarantine has died in Gulmi district.

The deceased has been identified as 69-year-old man of Chhatrakot rural municipality-5, Main Danda, said District Police Office, Gulmi.

A squad of Nepal Army has reached the incident site to manage the dead body.

He had arrived in Gulmi from India on June 7 and staying in home quarantine.

Patient of paralysis, he had gone to India for treatment. He tested positive for coronavirus during PCR test conducted posthumously on Thursday, according to Punya Paudel, health coordinator of the rural municipality.

The number of coronavirus cases in Gulmi has reached 105, of which three have returned home after treatment. Meanwhile, two have died from Coronavirus.
