Major agenda is fulfillment of public aspiration: NC President

SARLAHI: Nepali Congress (NC) President Gagan Kumar Thapa has said NC’s major agenda is fulfillment of public aspiration and right direction to nation.

A candidate for the House of Representatives election from Sarlahi Constituency-4, President Thapa reminded that the government’s challenge in the next five years would be to orient its actions towards public needs and sentiment.

“The incidents of burning Singh Durbar or any gun firing should not continue. We must act in a dutiful manner. Good governance is imperative,” Thapa said, admitting that there are numerous areas requiring improvement.

According to him, youths are in desperate need of jobs, while issues of health and education are equally fundamental. Thus, the national party’s utmost sense of responsibility is essential to deal with such agenda, he underlined. The President asserted that time has come to deliver results to the people. “We’ve no luxury to delay,” he viewed.

Thapa was for collaboration among all political parties to ensure stability.
