Five medical persons infected with coronavirus in Parbat



PARBAT:  Five medical persons have been infected with coronavirus in Parbat district.

They were confirmed infected with the deadly virus after their swab results came out positive during test at National Public Health Laboratory in Teku, said Dr. Shishir Devkota, the Medical Superintendent of Parbat District Hospital.

They had been working at Parbat Corona Hospital.

With medical persons being infected with the virus, all the services except for emergency ward have been shut down at the District Hospital.

The contact tracing of the infected medical persons is underway and swabs of other health workers have been collected and sent for testing, said Devkota.
