29 journos test negative for Coronavirus in Bhaktapur



BHAKTAPUR: Twently-nine journalits have tested negatige for Coronavirus in Bhaktapur district.

Nepal Korea Maitri Hospital on last Friday had carried out Coronavirus screening on journalists working in the Bhaktapur district.

Making the reports public on Sunday, Madan Sundar Shrestha, Mayor of Madhyapur Municipality, said the report of Coronaviru tests carried out on the journalists came out to be negative.

With infection cases rising in the district of late, the hospital had collected swabs of 29 journalists at the initiation of the municipality saying that they are the ones who work on the frontline in the society.

Earlier, the hospital had conducted Coronavirus tests on almost 100 people including people’s representatives and those foreign-returnees through Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR). All the reports came out to be negative.
