France reports 761 news deaths,1,909 cases



KATHMANDU: The death toll in France from Coronavirus has climbed to 18, 681 deaths after 761 died in a single day.

According to the latest figures collated by Woldometer, 1,909 new cases were reported taking the total number of infection cases to 147, 969 as Saturday morning.

Currently, 94, 868 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 6, 027 are critical. A total of 34,420 have returned home after recovery.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 154,126 and infecting 2,248,037 people as of Saturday morning.
