KATHMANDU: The Nepali Embassy in Australia has urged the Nepali community in Australia to not visit the embassy unless urgent.

The Embassy has asked the Nepali people to come to the embassy alone, not in a group.

Issuing a statement on Wednesday, the embassy said the decision to this effect was made as a preventive measure against the COVID-19 infection.

Likewise, the embassy has also urged people to use postal service to get their documents, including renewal of the passports, travel documents, among others, notarized.

The Embassy has also requested people to confirm the appointment through a phone call and urged the Nepali community to maintain distance from social gatherings.
