Two Indian nationals die in Nepal road accident

SAPTARI: Two Indian nationals died after a tipper hit a tempo at Gaura of Bodebarsain Municipality-4 of the district on Tuesday.

Police confirmed that the deceased is 26-year-old Mohammad Saddam Hussein, 26 and Kunkuniya Khatun, 45, of Bihar, India.

The mishap happened when the tempo, Sa 1 Ha 3796, was hit by a tipper, Na 1 Kha 5527, according to police.

It is said that the Indian nationals were returning home after attending a Muslim religious conference held at Janjar in the municipality.

Hussein died on the spot while Khatun while being taken to Biratnagar for treatment.
