Five Biplav cadres arrested with explosives



SANKHUWASABHA: Five cadres of the outlawed Netra Bikram Chand alias Biplav outfit have been arrested on Tuesday with explosives.

According to Police Inspector Santosh Rai, five cadres including district member of the outfit Santosh Tamang hailing from Chainpur-4 were nabbed.

The law enforcement agency opened fire in the air to nab them as they tried to run away.

Police recovered one socket bomb, safety fuse, wires, mobiles and documents among others from their possession.

The names of four other arrestees have not been revealed yet.
