Retired NA solider arrested for planting bomb

KATMANDU: Police have arrested a person on the charge of planting a bomb in a house.

A police team deployed from Metropolitan Police Circle, Chapagaun, arrested a retired solider of Nepal Army (NA) Raj Kumar Sharki.

He has been accused of demanding money by planting the bomb in the house of Sukram Mijar in Godavari on Monday.

The bomb was disposed by a bomb disposal squad of NA.

Police added that further investigation was underway.
