RJP-N issues whip for National Assembly elections

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal (RJP-N) has issued a whip on Saturday for the National Assembly (NA) elections slated for January 23.

Following a meeting of the party presidium held on Saturday, Presidium Coordinator Rajendra Mahato issued the whip to State Assembly members, the chairs and vice-chairs of the Rural Municipality and the mayor and deputy mayor of Municipality of the party.

The party has forged an electoral alliance with the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) for the polls. As per an agreement, out of four seats in Province 2, two have been allocated each to NCP and RJP-N.
