Province 1 records 43 fresh cases, 143 recoveries



BIRATNAGAR: A total of 43 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Province 1 while 143 people have recovered in the last 24 hours.

So far, the number of those discharged has reached 24,390 while the number of infected people has reached 29,230.

A total of 14 cases have been confirmed in Sunsari, 12 in Morang, six in Jhapa, two in Taplejung, one each in Sankhuwasabha and Khotang and seven from outside the Province, according to the Ministry of Social Development.

So far, PCR tests of 203,426 people have been conducted in the Province.
