KATHMANDU: Eighteen employees of the Ministry of Home Affairs including the Chief District Officers (CDOs) have been transferred.

They were transferred as per the ministerial-level decision on Friday.

Joint Secretary at the Ministry Dhundi Prasad Niraula has been given the responsibility of CDO of Lalitpur. Niraula was earlier the head of the Birgunj Customs Office. From there, he went to the Home Ministry and was transferred to Lalitpur

CDO of Dhankuta Keshav Prasad Bimali has been given the responsibility of Mahottari. Home Secretary Basudev Dahal has been given the responsibility as Dhankuta CDO.
