Biplav-called bandh partially affects four districts of Gandaki Pradesh

MYAGDI: The bandh called by the outlawed Nepal Communist Party (NCP) led by Netra Bikram Chand has partially affected four districts of Gandaki Pradesh.

The Biplav outfit has called a bandh in Parbat, Baglung, Myagdi and Mustang districts against the ‘suspicious death’ of its Myagdi district leader Gajendra Pun.

Originally from Malika rural municipality-3, Myagdi, Pun, who was undergoing treatment at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Western Regional Hospital, Pokhara died in the course of treatment on December 14.

The Biplav outfit has called the bandh today accusing Parbat prison administration and the hospital of doing negligence on the health of Pun.

Only few vehicles can be seen plying the roads in these districts due to the bandh.
