Valley’s normal life hit as mercury dips to 2



KATHMANDU: Normal life has been affected as the temperature went down to 2 degree Celsius in the Kathmandu Valley on Friday morning.

This is the record low temperature of this year, according to Manju Basi, a meteorologist. It was recorded at 6:45 am.  It was 2.3 degree Celsius yesterday morning.

The temperature has been going down since the last few days across the country.

The weather is partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Province 1, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province and mainly fair in rest of the Province, according to a weather bulletin issued by the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).
