16 more succumb to coronavirus taking Nepal’s death toll to 1,765

KATHMANDU: As many as 16 COVID-19 patients succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll from the coronavirus to 1,765 as of Friday afternoon.

Meanwhile, the country recorded a total of 782 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 252,474 in the country as of Friday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 9,317 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 1,029 infected people got recovery from the virus infection. So far, 241,392 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.
