NA Chief Thapa and Indian Ambassador to Nepal Kwatra hold talks



KATHMANDU: Chief of Army Staff Purna Chandra Thapa and Indian Ambassador to Nepal Vinay Mohan Kwatra held a meeting on Wednesday.

Nepal Army said the meeting held at the Army Headquarters in Kathmandu basically focused on mutual interests and reciprocity and other issues between the two countries.

Chief of Army Staff Thapa and Ambassador Kwatra also discussed issues of mutual interest and reciprocity.

The Nepal Army said it is hopeful that such regular meetings will further help in strengthening and deepening the bilateral relations between the two countries.

This is the first meeting between the Indian Ambassador and the Chief of Army Staff after the recent visit of Indian Army Chief Manoj Mukunda Narwane to Nepal.
