52 more test positive for COVID-19 in Gandaki Province



KASKI: As many as 52 persons have tested positive for COVID-19 in Gandaki Province on Sunday.

According to the Health Directorate of Gandaki Province, 19 persons in Nawalpur, 16 in Tanahun, eight in Pokhara, three in Gorkha, five in Syangja and one in Lamjung have been infected with the coronavirus.

Among them, two females from Pokhara Metropolitan City-9, one male and two females from ward no 10, one female from ward no 14, one male from ward no 16 and one female from ward no 21, eight males and eigh females are from Tanahun.

Similarly, 19 males and three females from Chapakot of Syangja, three males and one female from Waling, one male from Chapakot, one female from Lamjung Sundarbazar, one male and two females from Gorkha Municipality of Gorkha have been diagnosed with the virus.

Likewise, coronavirus has been confirmed in nine males and three females in Gaindakot, Nawalpur, one male and two females in Debchuli and a male and a female in Kawasoti on Sunday morning.

With this, the number of coronavirus cases in Gandaki Province has reached 5,685.
