COVID-19 kills 450,452, infects 8,391,481 across world

KATHMANDU: Coronavirus pandemic that broke out in Wuhan City of China on last December has killed over 450,000 across the world.

As many as 5,264 died from the deadly virus globally in the past 24 hours.

Until this report was prepared on Thursday morning, a total of 450,452 people have died in 113 countries including two international conveyances across the world.

With 141,257 new infection cases in a single day, the number of infection cases has climbed to 8,391,481.

Currently, 3,536,877 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the world, of which 4,405,152 have returned home after treatment.

In European countries, 184,659 have died from coronavirus pandemic, 148,779 in North America, 44, 558 in Asia, 65,068 in South America, 7,249 in Africa and 124 in Australia and Oceania countries as of Thursday morning.
