MORANG: Three municipalities in Morang have decided to deploy temporary police personnel after the influx of people from India by deceiving the security personnel deployed in the border area.

The decision was taken at a joint meeting of the local security bodies including the mayors of Rangeli, Sunvarshi and Ratuwamai of Morang bordering India. These three municipalities share a 27 km border with India.

According to Rangeli Mayor Dilip Bagodia, the municipality has decided to deploy 69 temporary police personnel to monitor the border on the condition of paying salaries from internal sources.
