KATHMANDU: A national seminar on the reconstruction of Nepal has been postponed owing to the nationwide lockdown imposed to prevent transmission of novel coronavirus.

The National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) was scheduled to organize the national-level seminar from April 22-24 as part of the preparation of hosting an international conference on reconstruction in Kathmandu.

According to Manohar Ghimire, Member-Secretary of the Conference Secretariat, the seminar was postponed owing to the unfavorable situation resulting from the coronavirus outbreak.

The international conference has been scheduled to take place from November 27-29 2020.
